MTME Lesson 2: Intervals (Part 1)
Now that you have a good grasp of the keyboard and the notes associated with the keyboard, we can move on to a musical term called intervals. An interval is defined as the distance between two notes. For most students, intervals are one of the most difficult things to learn in music. We are going to learn intervals in five stages so hopefully by breaking things up, it makes things easier to figure out.
Intervals are measured in half steps (although you can shortcut this with whole steps if you got skills).
I have supplied a keyboard for you to reference but in real life, you should have this memorized.

I am first going to start by giving you an interval chart. This has all of the intervals you need to know for this class.
