Acapella (Intermediate Level)
In this next project, we will be doing a larger project in Acapella. Hopefully, you got some good feedback from the last project so this one will be better. Here are your project requirements:
1) You must be in a group of 3-4 students of varied instruments.
2) Your project must be at least 60 seconds long.
3) You must include the following instruments: Bass, drums, vocals, and harmony. Do not use harmony in your entire project! Harmony should be used to highlight a section to make it sound cooler. Harmony should just be in one section of your project. Harmony can be either vocal or instrumental.
4) All songs must be rated G. When picking a song, be sure you have a place where you can include harmony.
5) Everyone must participate and be featured in at least one window in Acapella.
6) Try to use creative camera angles when recording.
7) Any projects that have beginnings or endings that are strange or don't work will have their grades start at 80%. (When in doubt, ask one of the teachers.)
8) Try to sound as professional as possible. Use the amps in the classroom to help you with vocal/instrumental parts.
9) Remember, when recording, always go in this order: drums/percussion, bass, chord type instruments (guitar/ukulele/piano), then accompaniment such as violin or piano, then vocal/instrumental melody, then parallel harmony.
10) At the conclusion of the project, each group member will be responsible for doing a write up answering the following questions...

- What parts of this project do you think are the best parts?
